New businesses continue to pop up all over Marion County and include restaurants, hotels and banks, to name a few.
Plenty is on the horizon for commercial development projects in Ocala. To start, progress is underway on Bojangles restaurant, which will be the first location for the company in Marion County, and it will be located on State Road 200 west of the Market Street at Heath Brook Mall.
And soon, downtown Ocala will be home to a Hilton Gardens Hotel, which will be located on the south side of Silver Springs Boulevard with First Avenue to the west, Broadway Street to the south and Osceola Avenue to the east.
Furthermore, Trulieve has recently opened a medical marijuana dispensary that is located in the Oakland Hills Professional Center at The Villages.
Most recently, Insight Credit Union purchased the bank building that is located at the corner of Southeast 17th Street and 25th Avenue, and this will be the third Insight branch in the Ocala community.
As far as residential development is converned, a new housing community named Canterbury Circle, which will be located at Southwest 38th Court, is set to break ground on June 28.
