We're almost halfway through the year, so let's take a look at the state of the real estate market in Ocala / Marion County.
In sum, things are going quite well. Both activity (i.e. homes sold per month) and prices are up across the region. Here are some examples:
Both activity & prices are up over 10%. That, folks, is a good market. Add that Marion County currently has just about 6 months of housing inventory, and we are in a very good place. 6 months is generally considered to be a "balanced" market, meaning neither slanted towards buyers or sellers. Right now, much of the country is in a strong sellers market, with low inventory. Here in Marion County, we're quite fortunate to have an environment conducive to both buyers & sellers.
Remember, our stats page is always available & kept up to date each month. This page has data for the county, along with Belleview, Summerfield, Dunnellon, and all regions of Ocala.
