Naples has topped the list, expecting to grow by 4.9% next year, with Ocala’s economy projected to grow by 4.2%.
With the energy boom fading, oil towns no longer top the list of America’s fastest-growing economies. Retirement communities, particularly in Florida, are taking over, thanks to the baby boomer population.
